People with interesting lives have no vanity. They swap cities. Invest in projects with no guarantee. Are interested in people who are opposite them. Resign without another job in sight. Accept an invitation to do what they've never done. Are prepared to change their favourite colour and their favourite dish. They start from zero countless times. They are not frightened by getting old. They climb on stage, shear their hair, do craziness for love and purchase one-way tickets.
This is me.
I too wished to say " see you when you get back" and to wish you all the best before you left. You will be missed on your year long odyssey thru Europe and Asia. Don't get to spoilt drinking excellent wines that cost very little and eating fantastic foods while cycling along centuries old country roads visiting even older sites. If you think I am a little envious, I am. I must say I didn't know you could wax poetic like you have. Have fun and drink all that you can. Ron
